Coreplan Tanzania welcomes a WASH Specialist

Kasey Williams

Kasey is an environmental engineer with a decade of experience working across private, government and non-government organisation (NGO) sectors. She has worked in remote and rural sites across Australia, the USA and Antarctica within the mining, engineering and environmental remediation industries. Her latest role involved assisting in the cleaning up fuel spills in Antarctica, with a focus on preserving soil and water quality whilst also conducting research and development of soil and water remediation technologies to reduce the impact of fuel spills in Antarctica and the Arctic. This is Kasey's second AVP remote volunteering assignment, having previously worked with Engineers Without Borders in Cambodia as a remote volunteer on rural water supply systems and hard ground sanitation projects to improve the lives of vulnerable communities living in rural areas. She hopes to combine her previous experience as a volunteer in the water, sanitation and hygiene space combined with her industrial skillset to assist Coreplan with their current and future projects. She looks forward to working with Coreplan's diverse team to develop positive and long lasting solutions for Tanzanian communities.

Kassey joins Coreplan Tanzania, for a specific WASH program in Tanzania in 2024.
